Vertical cuttings dryer is widely used in
the oil drilling industry, to recover the valuable oil-based fluids, to reduce
the volume of OBM cuttings for transportation, reduce the cost on
transportation and cost on TDU operations.

Decanter centrifuge is widely used in many
different industries, like oil drilling, mining, municipal sludge, chemical industry,
food and beverage. Different industry application has different requirements of
separation performance. And the design of decanter centrifuge can be very
different.
For oil drilling application decanter
centrifuge, the design has to be heavy duty and robust. The oil drilling centrifuge
usually works at outdoors with rain, snow and Sun. It needs to be ex-proof,
water-proof, can bear high temperatures atmosphere, can also bear extremely
cold areas.
For the bowl size and LD ratio, it usually
can be 14in or 18in for oil drilling mud treatment. Sometimes, it can reach up
to 22in like Derrick DE7200 big bowl centrifuges. The bowl length and Bowl
diameter ratio usually can be 3.5 to get a good performance within a relatively
controlled budget.
Screw conveyors are necessary conveying
equipment for the drilling cuttings, it can feed the vertical cuttings dryer
and collect the cuttings discharge as well. The conveyors we usually adopt U-shape
design, and the top cover to be equipment with steel plate or steel gratings.
The pump is transferring device for the drilling
mud. We usually adopt Germany brand Nemo pump working as feed pump to decanter
centrifuge. Germany nemo pump can also transfer the drilling fluids from site
to site, stable discharging pressure give good performance in mud conveying application.
Solids Control Equipment is a specialized equipment
working for drilling fluids treatment- separation, recycling, purification and
reuse. It is a close-loop system in the drilling rig site and plays several
important functions in the drilling process, including:
- Cooling and lubricating the drill bit: The drilling mud helps to
cool the drill bit as it rotates, reducing heat buildup and extending the life
of the bit. It also lubricates the bit, reducing friction and improving
drilling efficiency.
- Removing cuttings from the wellbore: The drilling mud carries the

stuck pipe.
- Maintaining wellbore stability: The drilling mud helps to support
the walls of the wellbore, preventing them from collapsing. It also helps to
control the pressure in the wellbore, preventing blowouts.
- Controlling formation pressure: The drilling mud can be used to
control the pressure in the formation, preventing fluids from entering the
wellbore and causing problems such as kicks and blowouts.
- Sealing the wellbore: The drilling mud can be used to seal the
wellbore, preventing fluids from leaking into the surrounding formations.
